It was another very tough ride with terrible weather. Everyone’s thoughts are with Ann after her accident.
Of course we can’t really post any updates here without full permission so I’ll (Brendon) be in touch with Ken & Kevin to see if we can provide any sort of update.

I know it has been said but thankyou again for a wonderful week that was without a doubt another trip to remember. Although the week was difficult as far as riding conditions the rest of the time was full of fun, laughter and fantastic comraderie. I believe that the trying conditions whilst not fun at the time are a gentle reminder that not everything goes to plan. Life is about adapting and as one of my pack buddies told me looking at the glass half full. This was a turning point for me that week because I stopped seeing the rain and focused on why we were doing the ride plus all the positives that came our way each new day. I have been thinking of Anne alot since returning to the Gold Coast and I hope she is on the road to a full recovery.
This was my third “Yots” and I look forward to participating in many more.

Had the best time. Even the weather was not that bad – and also the camping – now that we are all back in our dry and warm homes!!!
Thank you to everyone for making it such a fun time.

Thanks to ALL who made this my best cycle event ever it was great dispite the wet weather because the rain was warm.Jannie and Myself enjoyed every moment of this ride for a great cause in Australia and Canada. We made great new friends and hope to see them again in the near future,now that we are home again and look at the many pictures and video clips and share them with family and friends they all know that the Australian people are great and fun to ride and socialize with.
Again thanks from the both of us,Jannie and Jacob and all the best to Ann.

had a great time even though i don’t recall my crash or being taken to hospital. As a result of this I rode with pack 9 for the remainder of the ride and had a great time. thanks Dave for taking me into your fold, you were a great leader and from this I got to learn a lot about Youth off the Streets and the people involved and what a wonderful job they do, so maybe this all happened for a reason as I gained a great deal from this experience, thanks again, hope to see you next year, lorraine werry
