2009 Macsim Sydney To Surfers Bike Ride

We can finally announce the date of next years Macsim Sydney to Surfers ride, after an accommodation issue forced a change from Laurieton to North Haven, just down the road on the Monday night.

The ride will commence on Saturday 2nd May 2009 and conclude at Southport on Friday 8th May 2009, and will follow the same route as last year, with exception of the Monday night.

The accommodation details for North Haven are:-

Brigadoon Holiday Park, Eames Avenue North Haven (02) 6559 9172.

The nearest alternatives are:

• Jacaranda Caravan Park 02 6559 9470 or
• Beachfront Caravan Park 02 6559 9193

  and the nearest motels are:

• Haven Waters Motel 02 6559 9303,
• Woongarra Motel 02 6559 9088 and
• North Haven Motel 02 6559 9604.

We will be dining at the North Haven Bowling Club that night rather than the Laurieton RSL Club and the first two mentioned motels are adjacent to the Club

Registrations will only be accepted on our Official entry form which should be available by November this year.

Update on Ann

As many of you have been asking, a quick update on Ann Collins who is still unfortunately in hospital and has recently undergone yet another operation on her knee to remove bits of wire and floating bone fragments.

It has certainly been a long slow process for her and our thoughts and best wishes, and I know yours, are always with her.
